The Microsoft Authenticator App provides an extra layer of security. Having downloaded and securely installed the app (the process involves either fingerprint or face recognition). Two Factor Authentication allows you to securely log in to any password-protected sites, simply enter your username and confirm your sign-in with your phone.
Passwords are increasingly being stolen or compromised. With Authenticator, your phone provides an extra layer of security on top of your password, PIN or fingerprint. It also avoids using a text message that can be intercepted.
You can use Authenticator to sign-in to Outlook, OneDrive, Office, and more. You can also use it for social media so that all of your accounts, including your personal ones, are doubly secure.
The app can be downloaded online for both IOS and Android type devices with an intuitive installer.
