Top Tips For Microsoft Word
To select a sentence: Click anywhere in the sentence while holding the Ctrl key down
To select a paragraph: Quickly click three times anywhere in the paragraph
To create a horizontal line: Type 3 hyphens and then press Enter
To quickly create a table: Type a plus sign (+) then press Tab key. Repeat until you have the correct number of cells then press Enter.
To makes a word subscript: Select it and hit Ctrl+. Ctrl Shift + makes a word superscript
To delete the preceding word: Press backspace and hold the Ctrl key down
To generate random text for testing fonts and formatting: Type =rand(8,10) and then press Enter
Shortcut to increase font size: Select some text and press Ctrl + Shift + > (or < to reduce it)
