Email Security
A fundamental part of every Ziptech client’s tech stack, Barracuda’s email security system not only deals with spam but also scans emails looking for Malware and other threats before either blocking them, quarantining them or delivering them safely to the recipient’s inbox. Each email is scanned in Barracuda’s own sandbox where it can also securely open and investigate emails containing suspicious links.
Preventing Phishing Attacks
Using the latest in AI technologies, Barracuda’s Sentinel product can calculate the likelihood that the author of an email is who they say they are. This prevents impersonation attacks, spear phishing attacks and fraud.
Staff Awareness Training
Phishline is a fully automated staff awareness and training solution that Barracuda delivers to all staff via email. The system also sends out spoof emails that masquerade as genuine emails to test how well staff have adopted the training. These training video “shorts” are a great way to keep staff up to date with the latest types of cyber security attack and how to spot them.
Cloud Back-Up
Barracuda offers full back-up and recovery for 365 email (Exchange Online), SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams. Microsoft does not natively offer this service. There is no time limit for retrieving old data via Barracuda or for finding an email that you thought had disappeared.
